| Set up in 1853, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the oldest institution of its kind in India. For the last one and a half centuries, the Chamber has been witness to the momentous events that have shaped India's industrial and social character. The members of the Chamber are from
corporate companies covering agro, all manufacturing units including engineering, textiles, leather, FMCG, etc. and the services sector industries extending not only to West Bengal and Eastern Region, but throughout India.
The Chamber's membership includes large, medium and small-scale industries, professionals, corporations, business houses, branches of companies including large multi-national corporations and a wide range of organizations in the service industry. |
